Cata is Catharine Hyatt's nickname given to her by her family. Since childhood, "Cata" loved creating with her hands. The desert of the southwest influences her art with it's natural landscapes, sunsets, mountians, culture, and history.

Her style is eclectic, abstract, organic, and a little old world. Not only has the southwest been an influence for her world travels have also impacted her style greatly. She utilizes many art movements from the world past and present as an inspiration for the direction of her works.   

Cata has taken many classes from Alysa Phil and others. Most of her design and creations stem from her desire to experiement. In addition, Cata enjoys exploring new tecniques and incorporates them in many of her designs. 

Each piece Cata creates is made with her personal touch and designed with the idea of enhancing someone else's life. She prays every design will bring joy to the collector.
